The 2025 Route will started in the quiet village of Edale.
Hikers had a choice of three routes to choose from, depending on their fitness and experience:
The Edale
A 9.5 mile route that ends in the village of Hope.
The route took in the sights of the Edale valley and had some moderate hill walking.
The Long Edale
Following the same route as The Edale above, this route continued past the village of Hope.
The additional 7.5 miles give participants the chance to spot Ladybower Reservoir.
This route continued to be a moderate hill walk but with the length of the route made it challenging to some.
The Really Long Edale
From the village of Edale, this route was a figure of 8 that loops back on itself to mark the half-way point.
Participants on this route scrambled their way to the highest point in the Peak District.
Then it was back to Edale before heading across to the village of Hope.
The route back from Hope to Edale is the same as covered by The Long Edale.
This will was a tough route for many, as it includes some scrambling, hill walking and covers 22 miles.
