Forseti Fundraising was created in 2022 as a non-profit company - that means any profit we make goes straight back into further good causes, and never to shareholders.
Our aim is to get those who can to give back to our communities through events, such as hiking, whilst raising awareness and funds for those communities via already established charities and other legitimate causes.
Set against the backdrop of the current cost of living crisis, there are many causes that need assistance in the United Kingdom - whether that be for people, animals or efforts to keep our world healthy.
It is our pleasure to help those in need by doing what we can.
We have helped raise over £11650 (including gift aid) for the following charities. Click on a logo to visit the website of the charity.
All of the donations made to charities come from our event particpants and people donating to sponsor them; 100% of the donations went directly to the charities.
Just like any company, there are costs to keep the business running and to make sure our events go ahead.
Participants in our events pay an entry fee and businesses sponsor our events, in exchange for promotion of their business.
Volunteers help run the company and make our events a success.
We never take a 'cut' or percentage of donations given to the charities we raise money in aid of
Forseti Fundraising is not a 'paid third party fundraiser' or 'commercial participator'
'Forseti' is one of the many Norse gods, representing justice and reconcilliation.
There is a myth of him saving people from a rudderless boat using his axe.
So why did we pick that name? Because Forseti Fundraising is all about helping good causes.
What about that icon in the logo - what is that?
The eagle-eyed will note that this is a rune; it's thought this is the equivalent to our modern day letter 'f'.
So continuing the Norse theme, it made a lot of sense to use it!

I'm Oliver. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I decided that I could be doing more to give back and help those most in need.
After running a charity hiking event in 2022, I incorporated Forseti Fundraising to help more charities and good causes.
